Pia Wurtzbach to host Binibining Pilipinas 2017
27 Apr - It was revealed that Pia Wurtzbach is set to host the upcoming Binibining Pilipinas.
As reported on Rappler, the beauty queen, who won the aforementioned title in 2015 and was crowned Miss Universe in the same year, will be joining last year's host, KC Concepcion, who confirmed her return back in March.
This was announced by Wurtzbach's manager, Jonas Gaffud on Facebook last week, when he wrote, ""By the way, Pia Wurtzbach will be hosting this year's Bb Pilipinas edition. Isn't it exciting?".
The upcoming pageant will be held on 30 April. As usual, it will be looking for representatives for six titles - Miss Universe Philippines, Bb Pilipinas International, Bb Pilipinas Intercontinental, Bb Pilipinas Supranational, Bb Pilipinas Grand International, and Bb Pilipinas Globe.
Last year, Maxine Medina emerged as the winner of the Miss Universe Philippines, and made it to the top six at the 2016 Miss Universe competition held in the Philippines; while Bb Pilipinas International Kylie Versoza won the title of Miss International 2016.
