Pia Wurtzbach excited about first movie comeback
22 Jun - Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is both nervous and excited about making her acting comeback, especially since she is playing one of the leads in an upcoming Star Cinema movie.
As reported on Sunstar, the beauty queen who appeared at the story conference of the untitled superhero project recently, shared that she couldn't believe that she is headlining a movie alongside fan favourite, Daniel Padilla and Filipino box office icon, Vice Ganda.
"In the past, prior to Miss Universe, I would just be happy to appear as a guest on Vice's show. Now we are working together in a movie, and I will work with Daniel Padilla and be directed by Joyce Bernal too. I am really thankful," she said.
Wurtzbach admitted that while she is nervous about her first major role, she is assured by co-star Vice Ganda, who promised to take good care of her while they are filming.
The beauty queen will be joining an acting workshop and undergo physical training at the gym in preparation for her role.
The upcoming movie will be filming in July.
