Pia Wurtzbach confirms breakup with Marlon Stockinger

9 Dec– "I wish him and his family well."

That was the response given by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach when asked to confirm reports of her breakup with professional racer, Marlon Stockinger.

As reported on Rappler, the actress, whose breakup was first revealed by her business manager Rikka Infantado, dismissed the rumours that she ended the relationship because she was fed-up with Stockinger's financial reliance on her.

"Out of respect for them, let me make it clear – Marlon and his family never depended on me financially. This will be my only statement on the matter. Thank you for your support," she said.

Wurtzbach and Stockinger started dating in 2016, although it was only in January 2017 that she confirmed their relationship. Last week, Infantado revealed that the actress and the racer called it quits on their relationship as early as October.
