South Korean actor Song Seung-heon, best known for leading the Hallyu wave with popular dramas “Autumn In My Heart” and “East of Eden”, was in Singapore to promote his new drama, “Saimdang” on 7 Jan.

“Saimdang” is a fusion historical drama about an art history lecturer that stumbles on the diary of historical figure Shin Saimdang, widely respected for her art and poetry.

It will begin airing on Oh!K (Singtel TV Channel 525 / 611) on 26 Jan at 9pm.

Starring opposite Song as the titular character Saimdang is Lee Young-ae, who is making her return to K-dramas after catapulting to Hallyu stardom with the 2003 hit “Jewel In The Palace”.
