Phoebe Sin enjoys motherhood for the first time
29 Apr – TVB actress and first time mum Phoebe Sin admitted that she and husband Ruco Chan are still over the moon over the birth of their first baby daughter, Quinta.
The actress, who spoke to HK01 about the birth of their first daughter, whom they nicknamed Little Piggy, stated that she felt blessed and exhilarated whenever she looks at her newborn daughter.
"It really is a bliss. She is always smiling, it is so adorable. I hope that she will grow up healthy," she said.
When asked about the birth itself, Phoebe stated that she chose to undergo C-section and was accompanied by Ruco throughout the process.
"I was under general anaesthesia, but I remember Ruco tried to make me laugh. He even had the opportunity to cut the umbilical cord," she said.
Asked if their daughter resembles her or Ruco, Phoebe enthused, "Sometimes she looks like me, and at times she resembles Ruco."
When asked about the name Quinta, Phoebe said that it was a name suggested by her younger sister, after she and Ruco decided to have a name that starts with Q.
"Q is in the middle of P (Phoebe) and R (Ruco). What it means is that we the parents will always be there to protect her," she said.
Ruco and Phoebe tied the knot in October last year. The couple announced the pregnancy in November.
