Philip Keung thankful for reception to "The Defected" performance

8 May – Hong Kong actor Philip Keung recently admitted that playing Bingo in the television series, "The Defected" was the most fun he had in years.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who spoke about his character's ending in the said drama recently, shared that a lot of people have been sending his messages about how much they love Bingo, even asking him "not to die".

"I want to thank a lot of viewers and friends who like Bingo. This is the first time I have had such a big response about a character," he said.

Philip also admitted that it was a role of a lifetime, and that he hopes to be given such an interesting character again in future projects.

Asked if he is confident in his chances at the TVB Anniversary Awards based on the reception he got for his performance, Philip laughed and said, "Let's just go with the flow. That seemed too far away in the future."

"I will be happy with whatever the result may be. I am already grateful to see viewers falling in love with the character. I will always miss playing Bingo," he added.
