Petra Nemcova has welcomed a baby boy six weeks early.
The 40-year-old model announced the news on Instagram on Wednesday, alongside a sweet snap of her and husband Benjamin Larretche cradling their son's foot with their hands.
Telling her followers that her son arrived on Friday 15 November - six weeks before her due date - Petra said she wanted to wait until the newborn was "safe and out of danger".
"It's a Boy! Streams of joy and gratitude poured down our cheeks as, yesterday, we finally welcomed into our nest, our little angel. He chose to arrive unexpectedly at 34 weeks in the middle of the night in a remote area surrounded by nature," the Czech beauty wrote.
Detailing her scary labour, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant revealed that she almost gave birth in the car while heading to the nearest hospital with Benjamin.
"Since November 15th, it has been an intense journey at different hospitals, praying for our baby's recovery and wishing him to become stronger and healthier, but we felt divinely guided all along the way and supported by many angels, whom we are infinitely grateful for," she shared.
"Now our beautiful baby boy is with us, safe, protected, loved and in peace. We are in Bliss, we are in Gratitude, and we are in LOVE with our sweet angel that is revealing to us unraveling Wisdom and Truth of many life's miracles on our beautiful planet Earth."
She didn't reveal any further details about her son's health, and it is not yet known if he's still in hospital.
Petra and Benjamin wed in a private ceremony in Sedona, Arizona on 2 August, with Petra announcing her pregnancy news just two weeks later.
