Peter Ho writes, directs, produces, and stars in new drama
19 Sep - Taiwanese star Peter Ho is happy that he finally gets to fulfill his wish to helm his own project through the new TVBS' drama, "Age of Rebellion".
As reported on Epoch Times, the actor who appeared at the press conference alongside Tammy Chen, Nana Lee, and Jason Tsou, stated that he has always been interested in becoming a director.
"I wanted to be a director ten years ago. I have been learning and observing, and now I'm finally able to unleash it," he said.
But Peter is not only directing and starring in the drama. He is also the producer and the drama's screenwriter.
"I turned down a lot of jobs [for this], not just for the shoot. I also needed a couple of months to prepare, so basically I took six months away from other jobs. But it's all worth it," he added.
"Age of Rebellion" discusses the issues revolving youth, including campus bullying, drug trafficking, and more. Peter expressed hope that the drama will help spark a discussion on the issues and solve the problem.
It is scheduled to air some time this year.
