Peter Ho has high hopes for new drama, "Age of Rebellion"

9 Mar – Taiwan-based actor Peter Ho recently appeared at the press conference of his directorial effort, "Age of Rebellion", where he expressed his happiness about finally releasing his pet project to the public.

As reported on Epoch Times, the actor, who wrote, directed, and produced the new drama, shared that the story will touch on the many subjects revolving the youth of today, including school bullying, invasion of the triads, and other social issues.

As for the ratings, Peter said it is something that cannot be predicted, and that he hopes that the drama will succeed through word of mouth.

"Even though Taiwanese dramas have not been as popular as they were before, I still want to take the initiative to do it, and hopefully change the situation," he said.

He also admitted that after trying his hands on directing, he didn't feel like returning as an actor.

"As a director, you can create your own art, just like an artist. I have also been an actor for more than 20 years. It's a bit tiring, so I hope to reduce my acting work," he said.

Premiering this month, "Age of Rebellion" co-stars Ching Yang, Tammy Chen, Jasoon Tsou, Nana Lee, Zhang Ting-hu, Wu Nien-hsuan and several other new generation of Taiwanese performers.
