Paulo Avelino confirms Janine Gutierrez's network transfer
12 Jan – Although Janine Gutierrez has yet to respond to rumours of a network transfer, it looks like her "Ngayon Kaya" co-star Paulo Avelino has spoiled it for her.
As reported on ABS-CBN News, the actor confirmed the rumours of the transfer recently while promoting their aforementioned long-delayed film, saying that the movie also stars, "Our newest Kapamilya, Janine Gutierrez."
Rumours of the "Babae at Baril" star moving to ABS-CBN sparked recently, after eight years of the actress working as a GMA-7 artiste.
It was further fuelled by a photo shared by Avelino and Gutierrez's manager on 8 January where the two could be seen meeting with ABS-CBN executives for a congratulatory dinner.
On the other hand, "Ngayon Kaya" is tentatively set to be released in March or May, after postponing its Metro Manila Summer Film Festival April 2020 release due to the pandemic.
