It was only months after the death of Paul Walker that his brothers Caleb and Cody stepped in, to help film unfinished scenes in ‘Fast & Furious 7’.

But Caleb Walker has now said that the move was ‘too soon’.

Walker died in a car crash while filming the movie in 2013, and because the movie was incomplete, its future hung in the balance.

“I always wanted to be like him growing up, so stepping into his shoes was special, but it was too soon,” Caleb told the Dr. Oz Show.

“You know, looking back at it, it was just a few months afterward.

“But the most special part was getting to know his other family that he had been working with for 15 years, every cast member, every person on the set all had a special, unique bond with Paul.”

Walker’s mother Cheryl added that she felt she ‘couldn’t go on’ anymore after his death.

“I didn’t really want to,” she said.

“I know I have this wonderful family – and grandchildren too – I felt guilty for even feeling like that, but I, really, honestly, would wish that I didn’t have to wake up in the morning.

“I would never have taken my life but, I really felt that way. Because when you wake up, you have to realize it’s real, and you relive it all over again.

“People think that you should just get over it, but they’ve never experienced it, so. There are people that have, and my heart goes out to all of them. It’s heartbreaking.”

Scarcely forgotten as far as the Fast & Furious movies are concerned, Vin Diesel paid tribute to Walker last weekend, after the franchise was given the Generation Award at the MTV Movie and TV Awards.

“I could never stand on this stage and talk about Fast and Furious without giving love to my brother Pablo – our brother Pablo – we hope you’re proud,” he said.
