12 Mar – Making his directorial debut through the micro film, "Dreams Come True", singer Patrick Tang revealed that he plans to helm his own feature-length film in the future.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer who spoke about the experience of directing, writing, producing, and editing the movie, shared that he fell in love with the job and hopes to expand it further into a bigger project.
"If the film wins, I would apply for assistance for my first feature film project. We already have a good story, we only need great actors to perform." said Patrick, who submitted the micro movie for the 7th Microfilm Production Support Scheme (Music).
On the other hand, wife Sukie Shek, who also plays a role in the said micro film, said that her eager husband even overran tens of thousands of Hong Kong dollars trying to make the perfect movie.
"The expenses will be deducted from his pocket money," she joked.
Patrick laughed and said that it was due to his aestheticism.
"I didn't think it was so hard making a micro movie. I have seen the works of other competitors. The standard is really great," he added.
