Patrick Dempsey has joined Italian men's brand KA/NOA as a new partner.
The 100 per cent all-Italian brand was founded in 2017 by Bruno Grande and his wife Valerie, and now the couple has added Dempsey as a designer.
As part of his partnership with the label, Dempsey will help create collections and develop the brand.
"I was captivated by KA/NOA's approach and brand values from the moment I made my first order online and was amazed by the quality and the attention to details," the actor says.
"As a very detail-focused person, I have a strong connection to the brand's products, brand philosophy, and most importantly, the people driving it, along with a deep respect for all that has been achieved since its creation a year ago. I am very proud and happy to be able to play a role in this adventure, and eager to learn from Bruno and the men and women who make KA/NOA the worthy enterprise that it is."
This isn't the former Grey's Anatomy star's first foray into the fashion world - last year (18), he teamed up with Lyndie Benson for a six-piece unisex collection for sustainable luxury apparel brand Bleusalt. The 52 year old had never designed clothes before his work on the Bleusalt capsule, but he felt very comfortable when he began life as an atelier.
"It is a completely different discipline but it goes hand-in-hand with costume, wardrobe and architecture, which are all different disciplines you use in the process of filmmaking," he told Women's Wear Daily.
