Park Bench Deli to return with new all-day menu

After a month of renovations, Telok Ayer’s popular deli will return at the end of April with a fresh new menu of hearty sandwiches and drinks that will keep you stuffed from morning to evening.

Park Bench Deli’s latest additions to their menu include the hot, lip-numbing mala fried chicken burger as well as a sour twist to the Old Fashioned cocktail. The 6-year-old deli, which will reopen on April 30, will also expand their serving hours to start from 9am to 10:30pm, instead of only catering to the lunchtime crowd previously, and stretched their menu to include breakfast and dinner offerings.

Fans of the deli’s classics can expect the return of the Cubano, made with smoked pork shoulder, honey ham, pickled cucumber, lime Mojo dressing, and a french roll, and Reuben, made with pastrami brisket, sauerkraut, swiss cheese, sourdough, and served with a side of pickles.

For breakfast, the Park Bench Deli recommends its Hangtown Fry breakfast omelet with smoked bacon and fried oysters. If you’re in a tropical mood, Hawaiian picks include the Kalbi Loco Moco beef short ribs, sunny side up egg, fried rice. With peppercorn flavors being all the rage in Singapore right now, the deli has also introduced the fiery Chong King Fried Chicken made with chicken drenched in mala oil and paired with coriander slaw.

Pair them with craft beers, natural wines, or cocktails like the Pickleback Old Fashioned made with American whiskey, pickle brine syrup and bitters; or the PBD cream soda made with Italian Aperitif, vanilla syrup, soda, and whipped cream.

The 42-seater space is designed after traditional street delis and contemporary American culture with an open kitchen and a bar.
