Paris Hilton keeps all of her Juicy Couture tracksuits in a dedicated wardrobe.
The TV personality was one of the major trendsetters of the early 2000s, and when she was not hitting the nightclubs in skimpy party dresses, was often seen sporting velour tracksuit sets from the California-based label.
Yet, Paris has never grown tired of wearing tracksuits when off-duty, and in a video for Vogue.com, she revealed she maintains a huge collection of the outfits.
“I have an entire closet that’s only Juicy Couture,” she said in a video for Vogue.com. “That’s where I go in every single day and just put on my Juice.”
Paris went on to explain that she was first introduced to the brand in the early 2000s by her friend Lara Shriftman and was instantly captivated by the pieces.
“As soon as I put on my first Juicy tracksuit, I was obsessed. I said, ‘Please send me more. I want the full collection, every single colour.’ I just fell in love with the brand. It basically became my uniform,” the 38-year-old recalled. “I was not only wearing them to the airport or just to chill at my house in, I was going out at night in them. And I was rocking them with everything…I think (the owners) loved that I was kind of like the face of the brand.”
And one instance when Paris truly appreciated having packed her Juicy Couture tracksuits was when she set about filming the first season of reality show The Simple Life with Nicole Richie in 2003.
“(The producers) didn’t say where we were going, I didn’t even know what to pack. I basically just packed all of my favourite outfits, including a lot of Juice, a lot of pink, a lot of heels,” she explained. “Juicy is something that we wore almost every single day because we are always having to do these jobs. You know, we didn’t wanna just like be in overalls or jeans. We wanted to be comfortable and cute.”
