Oh the webs Comme weaves! The show, called “Ceremony of Separation,” brought grief and torturous pain to life with black headpieces seemingly made out of spider webs that completely obscured one’s view of the model’s face.

Perhaps the designers at Undercover watch “Silence of the Lambs” prior to brainstorm sessions? It seems they took the Hannibal Lector mask, made it plastic and clear, and tried to make it the next cute accessory. Maybe in China?

Asymmetrical hair and mismatching eye makeup to match, models at Yamamoto had their faces decorated with fence designs, looking like Edward Scissorhands got dressed up for a Halloween haunted house with the help of Pat McGrath.

If you weren’t distracted by the bare breasts parading down the runway, then the faces had it. Some models had Picasso-like potraits painted on, inspired by photography series “Doublefaced” by Berlin-based Sebastian Bieniek. If not looking like a Batman character, other models sported round paper masks with ears like Shrek’s.

Vivienne Westwood, the unibrow is never going to happen, no matter how many cute doodles you draw. Stop trying to make it happen. On the other hand, all over sqiggly lines does look pretty chic.
