14 Sep – Make-up star-turned-actor Paolo Ballesteros has recently added another skill to his name - designing gowns.
As reported on Inquirer, the "Die Beautiful" star recently revealed online that he has been designing gowns in the past, and is doing it again for a contestant on "Mutya Ng Pilipinas".
He also wished the candidate, Agatha Romero best of luck, revealing that the latter would be wearing his creation for the terno competition.
In his latest post, Ballesteros shared a clip from the runway, which shows Romero showing off an elaborate black and white ball gown, only to then take off the front part and reveal the blue-and-red ruffled skirt inside.
Coupled with Manny Halasan's golden headwear, the dress pays homage to the Philippine flag.
Romero also took to social media to express her thoughts about the dress, writing, "I am truly honored to wear this masterpiece by [Paolo Ballesteros, Jian Lasala and Ian Semira]. Plus, the head piece by Sir [Manny Halasan]. Thank you for trusting me to wear your first (known) creation, Kuya Paolo! I am so proud to see you finally rocking the fashion industry. You are a great artist, indeed."
