Pang Ho Cheung unsure of a fourth Jimmy-Cherie movie

23 Apr - "Love Off the Cuff" director Pang Ho Cheung recently revealed that while he has no qualms making another Jimmy and Cherie movie, the timing would be a problem.

As reported on Mingpao News, the director, who has directed all three movies about the couple (played by Shawn Yue and Miriam Yeung) since 2010, shared that there are still many stories that can be told when it comes to the said franchise.

"As long as the two characters are still alive, I will not rule out the possibility of continuing their story," he said.

However, Pang said that the issue may come from the timing and working on getting everybody's schedule in-sync with each other.

"The first movie "Love in a Puff" was made in 2010, and "Love in the Buff" came two years after that. But the third movie came four years after the second one. I don't know how long it will take for us to get to the fourth one," he said.

Pang added jokingly that he wouldn't be sure about the state of health of the cast members by then.

"After the second movie, I didn't expect to shoot a third one. There was no plan, so I wouldn't dare say there will not be a fourth one," he said.
