Pamela Anderson's full glam was always such a part of her public identity, but looking at her this Paris Fashion Week, you'd never know that. The actress has been sporting stunning makeup-free looks as well as soft 'no makeup makeup' looks and she looks bloody gorgeous.
We saw her looking fully makeup-free while attending The Row runway show, papped on the gorg streets of Paris. And she is glowing, glowing, glowing.
And just look at all of her freckles beaming through at Isabel Marant where she's wearing just a touch of makeup, with what looks like it could be tinted lashes and brows. She looks so different.
I mean, here she is at Proenza Schouler, wearing makeup but giving Miss Quiet Luxury herself, Sofia Richie-Grange, a run for her gentle makeup crown.
While it's gorgeous to see Pamela embracing her natural beauty and showing that it's appropriate no matter how fancy the setting is, there's also a deeply personal story behind her paired-back glam in recent years. She explained in an interview with Elle that she chose to forgo her signature glam aesthetic after her makeup artist, Alexis Vogel passed away from breast cancer in 2019.
"She was the best," she said of the artist. "And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup."
Pam also told the outlet that ditching her 90s persona felt "freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious," citing her nature to go in a different direction from other people to retain her individuality.
Whether Pam starts to build back up the glam or stay natural, the absolute icon is gorgeous inside and out
