Pakho Chau not affected by issue in first half of 2019

31 Dec – Although the first half of 2019 had been a challenge to Pakho Chau, the actor stated that he would not think too much about it, now that everything is fine.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who addressed the previous controversy surrounding the allegations that he was in support of the Hong Kong Independence movement, stated that the most important thing right now is for everybody to be safe and happy.

"I believe many people are unhappy in 2019. I hope that the social atmosphere will return to its happiest time, and that everything will be back to normal soon," he said.

The actor previously had to take a break from social media and remove all his Instagram posts following the said controversy, which sparked after he made an innocent post reminding fans to register to vote.

As for his outlook for the New Year, Pakho shared that he plans to have more children so that his daughter will have siblings to accompany her.

"As for my career, I hope to take it to the next level and to gain more affirmation in all aspects," he said.

Pakho stated that he found that his TVB series, "Wonder Women", has been popular in Malaysia, thus hopes that it will help him expand his career in the Southeast Asian market.
