Pakho Chau to hold online charity concert on 2 October
30 Sep – Pakho Chau recently announced that he will be holding a charity online concert on 2 October.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer shared the news on Instagram on 29 September, writing, "It's been a long time since I've seen the band and the team. It's been a long time since I announced that I will be holding a concert."
Pakho stated that the upcoming concert, which will be performed at the Zero Carbon Building in Kowloon Bay, will be in support of the construction industry that has been affected by the pandemic.
"While still affected by the epidemic, some industries can still work at home. However, in order to continue the normal operation of the society, construction workers have to stick to their posts regardless of wind and rain. I really hope to use this concert as a way to thank you and express my respect to you," he said.
Prior to Pakho, fellow singer Gigi Leung performed at the same venue for the same purpose back in August.
