19 Sep – TVB actor Owen Cheung couldn't help but laugh with the notion that he has shed his nickname the Bad Luck King, now that his previously shelved drama "Finding Her Voice" is set to air soon.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who spoke about the upcoming broadcast of the said drama, stated that he is just happy that one of his dramas will get to see the light of day.
"A few months ago, I didn't even think it would come out. It really depends on the timing and God's arrangement," he said.
When mentioned that the drama's 7 October schedule means that it will be part of the TVB Anniversary line-up, which means he may have a good chance of being nominated for an award, Owen smiled and responded, "I don't think I might, but if the company wants to give me one, I would of course accept it!"
On the other hand, Owen is mum about the possibility of co-star Jacqueline Wong returning to Hong Kong to promote the drama, saying that he will let the company handle that particular matter.
There is still no news as to whether both his other dramas, "The Offliner" and "Airport Strikers" will be released anytime soon.
