Ousted ESPN Analyst Curt Schilling Joins Alt-Right’s Breitbart (Report)

Former Red Sox pitcher and Donald Trump supporter Curt Schilling has reportedly been hired as a new radio host for alt-right media outlet Breitbart.

The official announcement will come on Monday, according to a report in New York Magazine, which describes Schilling’s new gig as “a daily online radio show featuring political commentary and calls from listeners.”

Schilling’s new job comes six months after he was fired from ESPN for writing an anti-transgender message on his Facebook page which read: “A man is a man no matter what they call themselves.”

According to the New York Magazine report, Schilling’s hiring fuels the reports that Trump will likely lose the presidential election and launch his own television network, called Trump TV, with Breitbart executive chairman Steve Bannon.

Vocal Trump Supporter

Schilling recently defended the GOP candidate after his lewd comments about under-aged girls surfaced. Footage showed Trump saying about a preteen, “I am going to be dating her in 10 years. Can you believe it?”

“How many times — and I have three boys and a daughter — how many times have you looked at a young man and said, ‘Wow, he’s a beautiful young man, wow, he’s a gorgeous young man,'” Schilling asked FBN host Trish Regan, according to The Hill.
