Homegrown cultural-culinary concept SPRMRKT has concocted a new (pictured above) Claypot Rice Roast Turkey dish (SGD128+) – chef-owner Joseph Yeo’s East-meets-West interpretation of the quintessential Christmas bird is generously stuffed with fragrant claypot rice, lap cheong (Chinese waxed sausage), shiitake mushrooms and salted fish. But if you’re looking for something more classic, they do prepare the Traditional Roast Turkey (SGD128+) but be prepared to make the difficult choice between two equally delectable types of stuffing – wild rice with Kurobuta pork sausage or spicy harissa chicken sausage with bread crumbs and raisins. All turkeys are served with house-made turkey jus and cranberry sauce on the side.
