9 May – OMEGA X recently revealed that they are now saying goodbye to their former agency, Spire Entertainment.

The group of 11 announced the news on 8 May, stating, "After careful and long discussions with Spire Entertainment, we mutually agreed to terminate the exclusive contract."

Accordingly, the Omega X members and Spire Entertainment have decided to end all disputes between the two sides.

"We decided to strive for the development of K-pop in our respective positions. In the future, the members plan to continue the activities with the manager with whom we shared joys and sorrows for a long time before we debut," the group added.

It was back in October last year that a video went viral showing the group being verbally and physically abused by a representative of the agency. On 16 November, OMEGA X announced that they will be filing a lawsuit to terminate their contract, a week after the CEO of the company resigned voluntarily.

In January of this year, Omega X won a lawsuit against the agency for a temporary injunction to suspend the validity of the exclusive contract.

Formed in 2021, OMEGA X consists of Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk and Yechan.
