11 Nov– Award-winning Hong Kong filmmaker Oliver Chan recently announced that she has recently become a mother.
As reported on Mingpao, the director previously announced in July that she has a "new project" for the second half of the year, only to reveal earlier this week that she has given birth to her first baby boy.
She posted, "New project Mini Ma was born. I am working hard as a milkmaid, but I still have to make money to buy diapers. I welcome all job offers!"
Oliver also stated that she is planning to return to work in early 2020.
The director was originally a Hong Kong screenwriter, who made her directorial debut in the movie, "Still Human" starring Anthony Wong. She was awarded Best New Director at the Hong Kong Film Awards in April.
