Former United States President, Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama the former First Lady of the United States, will be in Singapore to speak at separate events hosted by The Growth Faculty on the of 14th and 16th December 2019 at the Singapore Expo.
The events mark the first time the Obamas have come to Singapore at the same time, though they will not be seen together and only individually at their respective events.

Michelle Obama is widely recognised as an icon for women empowerment with regards to advocating change for women and children in the United States and around the World. Michelle Obama’s efforts to bring about change and progress have transformed the lives of women and families and have marked her as an iconic role model of the era.
In An Evening with Michelle Obama, she will be discussing snippets from her No.1 New York Times Best Selling Memoir of 2018 “Becoming” which details the private and public moments that have moulded her throughout her life. Michelle Obama will also reflect highlights from her time as the first African-American First Lady of the United States.
