Obamageddon The Final Ride: POTUS Now In L.A For ‘Kimmel’ & Last Fundraisers

UPDATE, 1:36 PM: Air Force One is on the ground at LAX and Barack Obama has arrived in Los Angeles for the last official Hollywood bigwig fundraiser of his Presidency. After a brief chat on the tarmac with Mayor Eric Garcetti and L.A. County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, that means now that POTUS has jumped on his Marine One chopper to a undisclosed landing spot that the widespread freeway and road closures by the LAPD and the Secret Service have gone into effect (see the full lists of closures below). It also means that if you are thinking of being on Hollywood Blvd soon or in Beverly Hills later, think again.

Before hitting top bundler Jeffrey Katzenberg and wife Marilyn’s home this evening for a $100,000 top ticket cash grab for the Hillary Victory Fund, the President’s first stop in Tinseltown is for a return visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! Then it’s over to the ex-DreamWorks Animation boss’ where the old donor band will be getting back together for one last blowout for POTUS before Obama flies out of town tomorrow just before 1 PM. Before leaving L.A., Obama will be over at American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy’s place for a $33,000 a ticket roundtable to raise money for the Democrats’ Senatorial candidates.

Earlier today and yesterday Obama was in San Diego for another round of election fundraisers and a round of golf.

So, if you haven’t been caught in Obamageddon over the past 8-years and the President’s over 40 visits to the Hollywood ATM, you have one last chance – or not for Tinseltown fundraisers 42 and 43.

PREVIOUSLY, OCT 23 PM: We are in the home stretch for the election and that means the parties need money for one last push. And that means President Barack Obama is back in Los Angeles to fly the flag for the Democrats and make one last visit to the Hollywood ATM before leaving office. With POTUS in town tomorrow for a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live! in Hollywood and a well-heeled Hillary Victory Fund fundraiser at chief bundler Jeffrey Katzenberg’s Beverly Hills pad, that also means Obamageddon is back for one last ride.

Air Force One will be making a post-lunch arrival from campaign events in San Diego. With a full day here for the Kimmel appearance and the big donor shindig, and an overnight stay in Beverly Hills before leaving Tuesday morning after a roundtable, you better check out the LAPD and Secret Service road closures below — and stay off the streets and the 101 and 405 freeways in the afternoon unless you like being stuck in traffic.
