Over the weekend a momentous occasion occurred that totally had us craving the early 2000s. The cast of one of our fave sitcoms, Will & Grace, reunited and it was like all our dreams had come true.

After 10 years off the air, Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes all reunited for the first time in years, and it was a special moment.

While we were just happy to see our fave gang all back together, it seemed that this wasn’t just a regular reunion.

Taking to Twitter, Debra Messing, who played Grace Adler on the long running NBC sitcom, uploaded the following:

This, of course, got us VERY excited.

Then, yesterday day time (September 26th), all four cast mates uploaded the following clip to their Twitter accounts and we were officially freaking out.

If you look closely, the trailer spells out “Will & Grace is back!”

It wasn’t 100% clear what this all meant. Deep inside we were hoping that the show would be coming back full time, with Netflix possibly picking it up.

However, things escalated quickly.

Within hours of the teaser clip being uploaded, the following video was shared to YouTube and OMG WILL & GRACE WAS BACK.

The new nine minute clip is a zeitgeist-y commentary on the upcoming American Presidential Election and the battle between Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton. Of course, Will and Grace are both big Hilary supporters, and the pair spend the vignette explaining why Jack and Karen shouldn’t vote for Trump. It’s completely and utterly hilarious.

While instantly nostalgic, the new scene is also full of modern day pop culture references, like Brangelina’s recent split, Ryan Lochte, and which candidate Katy Perry is voting for.

At the heart of the new scene, however, is just how important it is to vote.

While this new scene is obviously for a very specific reason, it seems that the four cast members still have the unique chemistry that makes or breaks a sitcom. Hopefully, seeing the response from fans around the world, we could be seeing more Will & Grace in the future.
