Normani has been chosen as the first-ever brand ambassador for Rihanna's lingerie brand Savage X Fenty.

The former Fifth Harmony star, who took to the stage for a sultry performance during the lingerie label's runway show in September, will front upcoming holiday campaigns featuring the newest looks from the Umbrella hitmaker's company.

"Normani is the perfect choice for a Savage X ambassador," Rihanna said in a press release on Thursday. "She exudes confidence and power. Everything she does is executed with passion and the belief she's going to kill it. That's why people gravitate towards her."

Normani also expressed her excitement over the collaboration, noting she is thrilled to be a part of a brand that empowers women.

"Savage X celebrates and empowers women of all shapes, sizes, and colours," she added. "I am so grateful for this opportunity and excited for what's to come with my new Savage X family."

In addition, the 23-year-old told that she was "excited and honoured" to be a brand ambassador and was blown away when she found out that Rihanna had asked for her personally.

"She is somebody I've looked up to for a very, very long time," Normani explained, before adding that she was proud to be part of a brand that is inclusive. "I just love how it gives everybody the opportunity to feel sexy and beautiful and empowered - which is everything that I stand for as well. I thought it would be the perfect partnership."

The Motivation hitmaker later took to Instagram to share a snap from the campaign, showing her in a co-ordinating red lace set with embellished stockings.

"I'm the first-ever brand ambassador for @savagexfenty!!! I love you @badgalriri," she wrote. "I want all individuals to feel empowered and to embrace who they truly are. I don't always wake up feeling the most confident and powerful, but trust and believe having my Savage X on always helps!!"
