Nora Ariffin denies she has COVID-19

15 May – Nora Ariffin recently assured that she is well, saying that a report about her getting COVID-19 was not true.

The singer, who spoke about her condition recently, stated that she had received a lot of calls and messages from friends asking about her condition following such report, and that she felt sorry for causing concern among those who care for her.

"Let me explain here that I am well. I don't have COVID-19 as reported earlier," she said.

As to how the rumour started, Nora suggested that people might have mistaken her with actress Nora Danish, who did admit recently that she was tested positive for the coronavirus.

"I hope that my explanation will ease the worries of family and friends who have been sending me messages asking about my health," she said.

It was last week that Nora Danish and fellow actress Tiz Zaqyah announced that they were tested positive for COVID-19 and have started on their quarantine. Later on Wednesday, Nabila Huda made a similar announcement.
