Here are the nominees for the 2018 Star Awards

The annual “Oscars” for Singapore’s Mandarin television industry will return on 22 April at the MES Theatre at Mediacorp.

This year will see about 60 nominations across at least 10 categories, with stars Desmond Tan and Pierre Png as well as Zoe Tay and Rebecca Lim being nominated for Best Actor and Actress, respectively.

Not forgetting the most popular artiste category, the 24th Star Awards will also see the return of the “Top Ten Most Popular Male/Female Artiste” award, which uses a voting system.

This year’s Star Awards will be aired live on Channel 8 and Toggle from 7pm to 10pm.
