Following its announcement in late September, the Nokia 3310 3G will be available in Singapore from 14 October for S$99, HMD Global announced on Monday (9 October) in a media alert.

Customers can purchase the phone from local telcos such as M1, StarHub and 3Mobile, as well as selected A-Mobile outlets such as Challenger, Courts, Gain City, Handphoneshop, Harvey Norman, Mustafa and Sprint Cass, said the Finnish company.

The frequently reminisced-about phone will be sold in two of the four colours manufactured – charcoal and warm red.

The new Nokia 3310 is designed with a matte finish and new silver keypads that provide more spacing between the buttons to allow users to dial, text and tweet comfortably. It also retains its predecessor’s popular Snake game, along with an interface that allows users to change icon colours and positions of their favourite functions.

The phone features a 2mp camera with LED flash as well as a 3G connection that offers up to six hours of talk time and up to 27 days of standby time with a single SIM card.
