No changes to Ariana Grande's Singapore GP stop after Manchester attack
There have been no changes to plans for US pop star Ariana Grande’s appearance at the Singapore GP this year, which is part of her “Dangerous Woman” tour.
“At the moment, we have received no information from her management team on events post 5 June. The entertainment line-up therefore remains unchanged,” a Singapore GP spokesperson told Yahoo Lifestyle Singapore on Thursday (25 May).
Entertainment company Live Nation had earlier issued a statement saying that they would be offering refunds for Grande’s cancelled stops in Europe.
This comes after a suicide bomber attacked her concert in Manchester on Monday, killing 22 people, some of whom were children.
On Tuesday, event organisers in Singapore said they would continue with tight security measures after the attack, which was Britain’s deadliest in 12 years.
Singapore is playing host to several big acts this year, including Britney Spears, Mandopop singer A-Mei, Ed Sheeran, and the Foo Fighters.
Following the attack, Grande announced a halt to her tour. The Dangerous Woman tour page on Twitter also announced that the tour was postponed.
The tour has been postponed indefinitely due to tonights events.
