Nigel Sylvester Reveals His Air Jordan 4 Restomod ‘Bike Air’ Sneaker

More from Footwear News

Rumors and low quality images of a retooled Air Jordan 4 have been circulating since late last year, and Nigel Sylvester has now given sneakerheads the best look yet at the forthcoming shoe through his own collaboration.

The Air Jordan 4 RM, short for “Restomod,” was revealed and worn by the professional BMX rider in a video posted to Instagram by the NYC jeweler Greg Yuna. The lower-cut sneaker gets a change-up in its cage shape and takes on Sylvester’s “Bike Air”‘” branding on both the heel and tongue for his “Pro Green” colorway. The occasional Jordan collaborator also adds a mini Swoosh to the toe tip, a minor detail he’s employed previously as well.

At this point in the cycle, little is known about the sneaker beside what can be seen, but the Air Jordan 4 RM likely features inward technology updates as well. One lesser-known sneaker leaker reported four versions of the sneaker are slated for release, two of which will be collaborations. At least one of those, of course, will be Nigel Sylvester’s.

Some reports have indicated the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 RM “Pro Green” will release this summer, although a lack of consensus shouldn’t inspire confidence that anything is set in stone yet. Footwear News will keep you updated on all developments for the retooled model and Sylvester’s take on it.
