Nick Jonas's latest fragrance launch was inspired by the "craziest year" of his life.
Over the last 12 months, the 27-year-old has married Priyanka Chopra and reunited with his brothers Joe and Kevin for the Jonas Brothers' musical comeback.
His wedding to the Quantico star consisted of two official weddings and a week of celebrations, which Nick later confessed had been wild and extravagant, and he and his brothers also released their first single in six years, Sucker, which was subsequently followed by an album, Happiness Begins, and a U.S. tour.
Accordingly, Nick wanted to capture the chaos of his whirlwind year in JVxNJ Silver Edition, his third fragrance collaboration with designer John Varvatos.
"We're in probably the craziest year of our lives, both together in the work we're doing and separately," he told Allure magazine. "Men these days are balancing a lot and always on the go. We wanted to have this feel like a little bit of a disconnect, a little fearless, but it also should give you energy. We tried to bottle that up in this thing."
The singer is blown away by the feedback he's received from fans of the fragrance, and loves that it gives them confidence.
"I aim to build something that becomes part of the fabric of people's lives, just like how a favourite song can make you feel really confident and give you energy," the star gushed.
Featuring notes of Italian lemon, green leaves, chromatic sage and amber, Varvatos stressed that while the scent is more masculine, it "transcends across gender".
"We just think of scents that we love and want to wear. I think the world is much more open to that today," he shared.
