After having mainly boys running around, Woollim Entertainment finally announced that the company will be revealing a new female soloist.

On April 16, Woollim Entertainment stated that the company will unveil a new female soloist at the end of April. The company also attached a photo to its statement, revealing Yoo Ji Ae, who is famous for being Infinite’s little sister in Infinite’s debut project, Mnet’s You are My Oppa.

“Yoo Ji Ae is someone who has been vigorously training and preparing since Infinite’s debut,” said Woollim Entertainment. “She will come out with a new image that is completely different with the current music trend. It’s good to anticipate her.”

With rumors of potential girl groups to be born from the company, Woollim Entertainment explained that it has been preparing very carefully over a long period of time to create a girl group that will be a unique competitor in the K-Pop realm that is overflowing with girl groups.

“If you just see Yoo Ji Ae’s solo debut, you will understand why we are doing member solo projects,” said Woollim.

In 2011, Woollim unveiled Baby Soul and in 2012, Yoo Jia. Yoo Ji Ae is the third member to be revealed from this supposedly up and coming new girl group from Woollim.
