17 Jan – It was reported that 46 year-old Hong Kong actress Vivian Chow will be starring in Giddens Ko's new film, "Waiting for Someone's Coffee".
According to Xinhua News Agency, the actress finally said yes to the project after Giddens used every connection he has to get to her. Sources claimed that she was moved by the director's persistency.
Though no information has been revealed as to what role the actress will play, it is likely that she will play the role as the cafe owner and have a lot of screen time. Paulien Lan and Li Luo reportedly will star in the film as well.
Details of the upcoming film will be announced at a press conference on 17 January.
Aiming to establish a love trilogy, "Waiting for Someone's Coffee" will be Giddens Ko's second instalment after "You Are The Apple of My Eye", the Michelle Chen-starrer that he also wrote and directed back in 2011.
