[Video] B1A4 CNU Opens Up About His Father Who Had a Drinking Problem

After hiding it behind a smile, B1A4 CNU opened up about his troubled relationship with his alcoholic father.

On March 26, CNU appeared as one of the panelists for KBS’ new pilot show Million Seller, where they visited a woman who had a story to tell.

She talked about growing up in a hard environment in which she lived fearing her alcoholic father. But although she did all she could to run away from him, the woman cried thinking about her now passed father. “I wanted to hear my father apologize to me once, but I also think I made my father live a lonely life. Perhaps I should be the one begging for forgiveness.”

Hearing the woman’s hardship, CNU shared his own experiences with his father, who also had a drinking problem.

“When I was young, my sister and I had a hard time because my father drank a lot. To be honest, it’s still hard for me to forgive him,” said CNU. ”But as I see my father getting smaller (older) - I feel bad saying this, I pity him, and I think I’m starting to understand him a bit.”

Million Seller is about a group of singers and songwriters who create songs with the stories they hear from citizens.
