Takahashi Minami to make solo debut

29 Aug - First generation AKB48 member Takahashi Minami would fulfilling her lifetime dream of making her solo debut, which will be made under Universal Music.

According to Tokyo Hive, the surprise announcement was made through a video by Universal Music chief operating officer Max Hole during the second day of their 3-day concert at the Tokyo Dome concert, after performing "Omoide no Hotondo" with outgoing member Maeda Atsuko.

A sobbing Takahashi was supported with the cheers of "Minami call" and said: "I was able to make my dream come true. Thank you very much to you all."

No more details on the date and details of her debut was revealed.
