Supernova held a special event in Japan’s Tokyo Tower for its newest single.

At the event, around 100 fans were invited to a special performance and fan meeting with Supernova among the some 3,000 who entered.

The group performed some of its hits including its new singles Stupid Love and Come Back To Me and held a special talk session with fans as well.

Recently, the group released its first new song in nine months, Supernova’s 14th single album Stupid Love/Come Back To Me.

The song was the first since its leader Yoonhak entered his mandatory military service last October, and did well by placing fourth on the Oricon Weekly chart.

Both singles have gained commercial success in other places as well, as Stupid Love was selected as the ending theme song for a popular Nippon Television program while Come Back To Me is the CF song for the mobile game ‘My Boyfriend is Supernova’, as well as the ending theme song for Supernova member Park Geon Il’s current TV Tokyo drama.

Supernova will hold a special tour in Tokyo’s Tokyo International Forum Hall for two days on May 24 and May 25.
