Shah Rukh Khan and Rohit Shetty to make Marathi films

7 Feb – After the success they had with "Chennai Express", superstar Shah Rukh Khan and director Rohit Shetty will be teaming up again to produce Marathi films.

According to India Today, the duo will produce a total of six regional films under their joint banner.

"Yes, we are looking at producing Marathi films, but it is too early to talk about it as we are still working on things. A few friends from the Marathi film industry have already narrated their scripts to me. I liked couple of them and I look forward to producing these ventures," Rohit said.

Shah Rukh does not have the time to star in Rohit's six new films, but he has voiced out his interest in investing money in the projects. Rohit also added that his next film starring the 48-year-old actor will most likely come in another two to three years as he needs to finish "Singham 2".

When asked if there will be a sequel to their hit film "Chennai Express", Rohit explained that he has yet to come up with a script for it.
