[by Woorim Ahn] Broadcaster and former basketball player Seo Jang Hoon appeared in JTBC ‘Nonsummit’ and discussed about ‘Noblesse Oblige’ with G12.
During filming the new episode of the program, Seo Jang Hoon said, “Whenever I see articles about abuses of power, I get angry, but I become weak when I face people having higher social status.”
Italian representative Alberto Mondi said, “Korea has pretty fair community comparing to other countries. Of course, there would be exceptions, but people with capability can always succeed” and refuted Seo Jang Hoon’s opinion.
On the other hand, Russian representative Ilya Belyakov said, “Although everyone pursues equality, there are people who abuse their power and money. Because of this, such relationships are natural social structures.”
Seo Jang Hoon also mentioned, “The year that I retired, I donated my whole annual salary to develop the donation culture.”
Meanwhile, various stories about ‘Noblesse Oblige’ will air on January 26. (photo by JTBC)
