SBS’ ‘Inkigayo’ Made Available in 3D

SBS’ Inkigayo stages are about to become all the more real for viewers.

Samsung Electronics announced on July 6 it would begin offering Inkigayo in 3D through its Samsung Smart TV.

Now viewers with Samsung Smart TV will be able to watch their favorite singers perform in 3D from the comfort of their homes.

According to a Samsung representative, “In the past, viewers were only able to repeatedly view idol singers’ music videos that had been produced in 3D but now viewers will be able to watch his or her favorite idol stars sing and perform in their most recent stages through SBS Inkigayo.”

Viewers will be able to watch the whole show in 3D or pick and select his or her favorite artists and their stages.

Past episodes will also be available in 3D beginning with an episode of Inkigayo from early June being made available first with a total of 20 past episodes set to be converted into 3D. New episodes will be converted into 3D every two weeks.

Additional shows from SBS including A Tree With Deep Roots and SBS’ documentaries will also be converted into 3D in the near future.
