Peter Ho stopped by customs
29 Nov – American-Taiwanese singer-actor Peter Ho was recently detained by the customs at an airport in China because the customs officers found that he was carrying more than 100 boxes of condoms in his carry-on luggage, according to May Daily.
When asked, the 36-year-old hunk's manager said the condoms were gifts from the manufacturer as he had just finished an endorsement work for them.
"He is the spokesperson of the brand, so the company gave him some as gifts and Peter was planning to distribute them to the film crew in China," said Peter's manager.
The manager also added that there was no more room in his check-in luggage, prompting Peter's decision to carry the condoms in his carry-on.
Peter Ho was allowed to pass after much explanation. However, it was an embarrassing moment for him as some of the officers recognized him and could not stop laughing.
