‘Oh My Ghost’ Will Take Responsibility For Summer

[by Sora Ghim] This summer an impertinent romance will take over the small screen. New tvN Friday-Saturday drama ‘Oh My Ghost’ has released the first still cut of Park Bo Young and Jo Jung Suk.

In the drama Park Bo Young works as a chef’s assistant, Na Bong Sun, who has zero self-esteem. Due to her shy nature, she doesn’t have close friends and fails at her job, becoming a badly treated character. Jo Jung Suk is a snobby star chef whom Park Bo Young has a crush on. His character, Kang Sun Woo is talented in cooking and boasts good looks, becoming a star chef easily. He has a lot of pride in his cooking.

The still cut shows the first filming of the drama. Both actors are in character, capturing the polar opposite personalities. Park Bo Young clasps her hands in front of her and has an uneasy gaze in her eyes, portraying Na Bong Sun in detail. On the other hand, Jo Jung Suk is dressed in a chef’s uniform and has a look of confidence. With just his stance, he raises anticipation for his transformation into a popular star chef.

A producer of the drama stated, “Although it was the first time the two actors were working together, from the first day of filming, they understood their character perfectly and showed impressive immersion, amazing the staff and director.” Director Yoo Jae Won said, “From the reading, there was anticipation for both actors’ acting but I didn’t know it would be to this extent. With every scene, they show a 3-dimensional character, making all the staff happy. I hope the viewers will have a lot of anticipation.”
