Jacky Wu intends to countersue

20 Feb –Famed Taiwanese TV personality, Jacky Wu is set to countersue undergraduate, Chen Yufeng, who earlier initiated a legal claim against him for allegedly attacking the latter.

According to Asianpopnews website, Jacky, who just returned from Shanghai on 18 February, gave his statement at a police station and revealed that he had suffered multiple injuries on his nose, forehead, upper lip and chin.

Jacky also claimed that his medical assessment result shows that he had suffered a concussion and was forbidden from travelling by his physician.

His assistant added, "Jacky's hand was still bleeding the next morning [after the fight] and had to receive a Tetanus vaccine. Jacky had to bear the pain and carried on with his ten-day show in Shanghai."

The TV personality revealed that he intends to countersue the three undergraduates for causing far more serious physical injuries to him, but will withdraw the lawsuit if the other party is doing the same too.

On 8 February, Jacky, who was having supper with Elva Hsiao, Kai Ko and Cheryl Yang - was embroiled in a fight with an undergraduate student, Chen Yufeng, that started with heated arguments until the latter got annoyed with his friend for making him wait in order to chat with Jacky.

Chen, who received four stitches on his lips, reported the case to the police and revealed his intention to sue the host.

Asked about Jacky's intention to countersue, Chen said, "It doesn't matter. I wasn't the one who started hitting. I am the victim!"
