27 Sep – After a year and a half of being a radio DJ for MBC's "Shim Shim Tapa" together with Super Junior's Shin-dong, KARA's leader Gyu-ri has confirmed her withdrawal from the radio show.
According to HanCinema website, her agency, DSP Media announced today that Gyu-ri will step down from the show on the 2nd of October. They further explained that although Gyu-ri enjoys hosting the show, they assumed that her increased promotional activities abroad might disrupt it.
It's a well-known fact that KARA has been busy with promotional activities in South Korea and Japan with their latest album. In addition Gyu-ri is also preparing for the musical "200 Pound Beauty" which is due to start this October.
Meanwhile, the show's producers confirmed that Super Junior's Shin-dong will temporarily host the show alone as they find a replacement for Gyu-ri.
