Fala Chen enjoys filming despite the heat and her injury
21 Jun – Despite her injury and heatstroke, former TVB actress Fala Chen said she enjoyed working on her upcoming film, "Mysterious Treasure".
Mingpao News reported that when Fala attended the launching ceremony of a jewellery store, Pandora recently, she revealed that she accidentally sprained her neck during her filming in Hailing Island and had to take a week's break in Hong Kong for physical therapy.
However, Fala stressed that it was worth it. She claimed that she had fun filming the movie alongside her co-stars Ronald Cheng and Dayo Wong.
"It was an amazing experience," said the actress. "They made me look so cool during the fighting scenes. I feel so honoured that I got to be involved in the film."
Playing the role of a pirate in the new movie, Fala explained that she had to paint her skin a few shades darker.
"But it's good though. The substance was like a sunscreen and it acts as a protection from the scorching sun. It was so hot that it's hard to describe. I even had a minor heatstroke!" said the actress.
