Dal Shabet's Viki to pursue solo career

27 May – It was revealed that Dal Shabet's leader Viki has left the group in order to pursue a solo career.

According to Allkpop, on 25 May, Viki uploaded a copy of her handwritten letter for their fans on their official fan club and announced her official departure from the group, but she will be returning with a new solo album.

Among the things Viki wrote was, "I will be concluding my activities as a member of the group with our Yeosu schedule as my final participation," and that she will return as soon as possible with her solo promotions.

She also stated, "Our pretty Shabet sisters are also making a comeback! As it is their first studio album, please give them lots of love. Although I won't be able to greet you as a member of Dal Shabet in the future, I hope our Darlings won't forget Viki in their hearts. Please continue to give Dal Shabet your unchanging love and anticipate Viki's solo transformation."

Meanwhile, Happy Face Entertainment explained that Viki will have her last performance at the 2012 Yeosu Expo on 27 May. It was also revealed that a new member has been added to maintain the group's six-member concept.
